Scripture Time ("the App") is developed and maintained by ZenXTen Inc. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This privacy policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights.

The short version: **Scripture Time collects no personal data. Everything stays on your device.**

**We do not collect any personal information.**

Scripture Time does not:
- Require an account or registration
- Collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personal identifiers
- Track your location
- Access your contacts, camera, photos, or files
- Use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising SDKs
- Send any data to external servers
- Use cookies or similar tracking technologies

## Data Stored on Your Device

Scripture Time stores the following data locally on your device using AsyncStorage (a standard on-device storage mechanism):

- **Your settings** — scripture interval, active hours, selected sources and themes
- **Reading history** — dates and scriptures you have read
- **Favorites** — scriptures you have saved
- **Statistics** — reading count, streak, and daily totals
- **Notification schedule** — upcoming reminder times (managed locally)

This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or any third party. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted.

## Third-Party Services

Scripture Time does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services.

The App uses the following device capabilities:
- **Notifications** — to deliver scheduled scripture reminders. Notification content is generated locally on your device.
- **Text-to-Speech** — to read scriptures aloud using your device's built-in speech engine. No audio is recorded or transmitted.
- **Audio** — to manage audio focus when using the listen feature. No audio data is collected.

The App includes optional links to external services that are not controlled by us:
- **PayPal** (paypal.me) — if you choose to make a voluntary donation
- **Google Play Store** — if you choose to leave a review
- **Email** — if you choose to send feedback via your device's email client

These external services have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

## Children's Privacy

Scripture Time does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since the App collects no personal data whatsoever, it is inherently compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

## Data Security

Since Scripture Time does not collect or transmit any data, there is no data to secure on our end. All data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's own security measures (screen lock, encryption, etc.).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
